Guest guest
Hello all, Just got a message from a very upset (vegan) friend of mine. He's just been to see the " artist " Banksy's new show and it features live animals - 2 pigs, 2 sheep and 2 cows, all spray painted. It's in a hot warehouse and the animals seem little cared for as well. (Surprise, surprise.) It's at 479-483 Kingsland Road, Hackney, London. Pretty near the Dalston Kingsland overground station. Tonight's (Thursday) show was just a sneak preview. It really starts tomorrow, Friday the 18th and runs to the 21st. Open 10am - 6am - weird times but that's what I've got on my message. PLEASE if anyone can come down tomorrow do so!! I'll be there at 10am. I've called a few ar organisations, people, and I've also e- mailed Farmed Animal Sanctuary in case they could come forward and ask Banksy to let them take the animals into their care. If anyone knows of a sanctuary or has the wherewithal to do this, please, PLEASE help. I wouldn't normally do this but if anyone wants to contact me to find out any info, to help, or ask how the animals are, my mobile is: 07729 294 116. It's time to smash these abusive bastards with the vegan hammer of justice!! Oh dear, getting a little carried away... Thanks so much, Love Wendy
