Guest guest
have you got recipes pies without milk, especially without eggs. In Turkey I don't know any egg replacement for pie. which simple ingredients should I mix in order to replace eggs..I tried a lot of pie mixtures but I couldn't accomplish. I think egg's function in pie is to glue the mixtures. because it contains casein. isn't it? help me I want to eat some sweety things. Guest guest
casein is a dairy protein. I believe one of its functions is to provide a meltiness to cheeses--it's why so many soy cheeses have it (grrr). Eggs are used to bind ingredients or provide " lift. " sometimes you can go without an egg at all. In cakes, you might be able to use applesauce. I understand tofu also works. in place of milk, you can use soy milk, oat milk, rice milk--vegan milks--in equal measure to the cow's milk.
