nope, not weird, just using the wrong kind of stevia. the liquid stuff is

bitter-tasting. try powdered stevia; you'll have much better results. i

like the " wisdom of the ancients " brand.

When I have coffee in Uxbridge I always go solely to starbucks because they have

soya milk. Maybe it's evil, but I have always voted with my wallett. Be

it,.not buying animal products or buying vegan production regardless of the

retailer. There is only one way vegan goods will prosper: if we give all shops

reasons to stock them and others who don't normally come into contact with them

have the opportunity to see/buy/try etc.

How many other people hold this view? I also walk into many cafes and ask if I

can have soya milk. If they don't I'll normally exclaim " you only have cows

milk? " " okay I'm off to starbucks " or " I'll come back when you have " .

Boycotting is easy, chaning the status quo is not. How many stores now stock

vegan products due to boycotts?

Several people have mentioned getting soya milk cappucino from the likes of

Starbucks/Cafe Niro......am I the only one who is boycotting this idea on the

Fair Trade ( or lack of it by them ) principle???????????

Vegans consult your concience....

P.S. Just recovered from hoards of " Trick Or Treaters " , yet another terrific

idea from our ex colonial cousins....HAVE A NICE DAY.

I think you're 100% spot on there Rowan.

We have a couple of small independent coffee shops locally where they

have soy milk and Fair Trade coffee (not to mention free WiFi !), and

I'll always patronise these in preference to the local Starbucks. But

when I'm away from home and *$ is the only game in town for vegans

then I'll buy my soy latte from them. I feel they deserve at least a

small amount of business from me for having soy milk when others don't
