Guest guest
Dear List, I think that Linda McC's products are no longer vegan (as of quite a while ago actually.....), but I don't know why. The ingredients seem quite harmless but I suppose it's something under 'flavourings'. Anyone got any more info on that one? Hugs, Elisabeth=) Trying to start another topic.....!!!! I think it originally came about as a result of them trying to avoid GMO ingredients. Other companies making GMO-free vegan products seem to manage OK though. Representations made to the company about the foods no longer being vegan have pretty much fallen on deaf ears, I believe. I'm sure someone will be able to provide more info. Guest guest
Hi, I think most have whey or dried egg in? Something like that, anyway. Hi John! Not according to the ingredients they don't. Yeah, some do - like the burgers etc and there are some with cheese in, I think, but the sausages, pies and so forth seem to have nothing objectionable in. I wonder..... Certainly the last time I tried the " Deep Country Pies' they didn't seem to be anywhere near as good as they originally were. The L McC products were always rather unhealthy (lots of trans fats etc) but at least they tasted good. Now they don't even taste good, so, 1005 vegan or not, there isn't much reason to but them any more. :-( Paul --

I haven't checked within a year or two, though.
