Has was made abundantly clear during the discussion of AR on this list,

any subject is welcome so long as it does not dominate the list. Not

all topics will be vegan topics, this is a list for vegans, not one

about veganism. Anything relating to the list itself has always been

classed as on-topic.

 

If your first message to a list after a long period of membership is

self publicity, and you did not feel the need to ask permission as to

whether doing so would be okay, and the same message was cross-posted

across several lists then that mail is spam. What you do after that

does not change that fact. All I'm asking is that in future you either

become an active participant or ask permission, those are the list

rules, if that is too much to ask then you should leave as next time

(if I am still in charge) I will not be so forgiving. This is the same

way I deal with anyone who does the same, you are not the first.

 

There has never really been much of a problem to need to moderate new

members, and the reason it has never been employed is simply because of

the time aspect, if you don't allow genuine messages through quickly

people tend to disappear in a huff, which doesn't make it a very

welcoming list.

 

Now would anyone like to join Elisabeth on the 'top table'?
