Guest guest
With Christmas coming I just thought that I would share this information with anyone who wants to shop in the UK at ASDA supermarket. I have also contacted Tesco, whose only response so far was for me to trawl through their wine warehouse online to look for the vegan symbol. I have since sent this back and asked them to be a bit more customer friendly and do the scrolling for me and send me a list. I will let you know the outcome: Here is the list you require: Red Wine - Argentinian Asda ARGENTINIAN RED SELECT BLEND 75CL Asda ARGENTINIAN RED WINE 3L Asda ARGENTINIAN SHIRAZ 75CL Red Wine - Bulgarian Asda BULGARIAN CABERNET SAUVIGNON 75CL Red Wine - French Asda CHARDONNAY JARDIN DE LA FRANCE 75CL Asda CHATEAUNEUF DE PAPE RED WINE 75CL Red Wine - Italian Asda VALPOLICELLA 75CL Red Wine - South African Asda AFRICAN CAPE PINOTAGE 75CL Asda CAPE RED 3L White Wine - Australian Asda KARALTA WHITE 3L White Wine - French Asda CHABLIS 75CL Asda CHABLIS PREMIER CRU 75CL Asda VIN DE TABLE MEDIUM DRY WHITE WINE 3L White Wine - Hungarian Asda HUNGARIAN CHARDONNAY DRY WHITE WINE 3L Asda HUNGARIAN DRY CHARDONNAY 75CL Asda HUNGARIAN MEDIUM CHARDONNAY 75CL Asda HUNGARIAN MUSCAT 75CL White Wine - Italian Asda FRASCATI 75CL Asda SOAVE 3L White Wine - South African Asda CAPE WHITE 3L Asda CAPE WHITE 6 X 75CL Asda CHARDONNAY 75CL Asda SEMILLON/CHARDONNAY 75CL > Peter H -------------------- talk21 your FREE portable and private address on the net at http://www.talk21.com

When I was back on the UK this summer I noticed that Tesco had a vegan rioja at around 6.99 which was great - I brought a few of those back with me in my suitcase. ;-) Paul --
Guest guest
Hi Paul, Sorry, I can only assume that as none of them are listed as organic, that none of them are. Anyway seasons greetings and all that. I always try to support organic producers when I can but sometimes it's hard to find wines (and many other things) which are both vegan and organic. When I lived in the UK I used to buy wine direct from Vinceremos: <http://www.vinceremos.co.uk>. They have a great selection of veg*n and/or organic wines etc. Their WWW site makes for interesting reading too, even if you're not planning to buy anything from them just now. Happy Holidays, Paul --
Guest guest
Check out the Animal Aid website, www.animalaid.org.uk they've got wines etc that are vegan and organic. I know it's too late now to order some for Xmas, but could be useful for the future! , Paul Russell <prussell@s...> wrote: Thanks anyway Peter.
