With Christmas coming I just thought that I would share this information with

anyone who wants to shop in the UK at ASDA supermarket. I have also contacted

Tesco, whose only response so far was for me to trawl through their wine

warehouse online to look for the vegan symbol. I have since sent this back and

asked them to be a bit more customer friendly and do the scrolling for me and

send me a list. I will let you know the outcome:

Excellent.

When I was back on the UK this summer I noticed that Tesco had a

vegan rioja at around 6.99 which was great - I brought a few of those

back with me in my suitcase. ;-)

Thanks anyway Peter. I always try to support organic producers when I

can but sometimes it's hard to find wines (and many other things)

which are both vegan and organic.

When I lived in the UK I used to buy wine direct from Vinceremos:

<http://www.vinceremos.co.uk>. They have a great selection of veg*n

and/or organic wines etc. Their WWW site makes for interesting

reading too, even if you're not planning to buy anything from them

just now.

Happy Holidays,

Paul

Check out the Animal Aid website, www.animalaid.org.uk they've got

wines etc that are vegan and organic. I know it's too late now to

order some for Xmas, but could be useful for the future!
