Guest guest
I saw this on another site and thought I'd pass it on. Beany. Hello, Kerwood's intense campaign against Alaska's aerial wolf slaughter has generated enormous international support. However, the slaughter continues with 63 wolves confirmed dead and the death toll rapidly rising. Alaska's barbaric laws allow pilot/gunner teams to shoot entire families of wolves, including pups, from the air or to chase wolves to frantic exhaustion and then land to kill them as they struggle in deep snow to escape. These laws ensure certain death for hundreds of wolves in the years to come. If this were not horrifying enough, Alaska's Board of Game meets next month to review and most likely approve four additional wolf killing programs in addition to the ones already in place. Over half the state of Alaska is eligible for shoot or land-and-shoot wolf hunting, with permits being issued to hunters with the most successful history of aerial kills, whether or not these hunters have previous convictions for illegal aerial or land-and-shoot actions! Help save Alaska's wolves by signing Kerwood's petition against their slaughter (link at bottom of email) and just as importantly, with your generous financial contribution today to our massive campaign to end their killing: http://www.kerwoodwolf.com/ACTIONCENTER.htm Kerwood is hard at work to stop the senseless, barbaric killing of these majestic, innocent animals but we need your help to do so and to continue to: * Deliver our urgent petition to Alaskan governor Frank Murkowski (delivered in its entirety every time 5,000 signatures are added) * Shine the world spotlight on these atrocities and Alaska's policies of death * Promote a worldwide tourism boycott of Alaska and urge the tourism industry to call for a ban on these senseless and barbaric wolf killings Help ensure the preservation of these beautiful, social and intelligent animals for generations to come.
