Guest guest
Anyone going to the demo in Cambridge on Saturday? It should be good! It seems a lot of people are going, coaches and minibuses seem to have filled up fast! Maybe see some of you there For more details go to http://www.shac.net there's a big banner link at the top of the page.

Maybe see some of you there I'm going. :-) I'll probably be on my own though... my friends came up with crap excuses (not talking about you K@! People from my town!)... so if anyone sees a blonde dressed in velvet and platform boots on her own come and say hi so I'm not feeling so much like Billy-No-Mates. lol. <3 Shari Black Velvet
Guest guest
OK then, if I see someone with platform boots and wearing velvet I'll just walk up and say 'Hi are you Shari and are you on the ?'! Hehehe I wonder how many people I'll say that to before being labelled as 'weird' and having people run to get out of my way! OK if a total stranger comes up to you that'll probably be me See you there! , " Shari@B... Guest guest
This is probably too late... maybe... but I was just thinking - which coach are you going down on (if you're going by coach)? Just thought - it would be funy if you were actually on the same one as me and we didn't know. lol. Vanessa - I'll look out for your stall and try and come and say hi. Look for the purple trousers/jeans and black velvet gloves. <3 Shari Black Velvet , " gothcatz " <gothcatz> wrote: > OK then, if I see someone with platform boots and wearing velvet I'll > just walk up and say 'Hi are you Shari and are you on the > ?'! Guest guest
Argh, I only just got your email! I did have a look out for you, but there were soooo many people! I was in the big tent before the speeches (I bought an airhorn, yay loadsa noise!) and I could barely move lol. I came up on a minibus from the South West, so no chance of being on the same coach as you though that would have been funny! It was such a cool day though, national demos always rock! We had the police follow us from Cambridge (they even went through a red light to keep up!) all down the motorway for about 2hrs! Nice to know they're using taxpayers' money wisely and making themselves useful! We'll have to look out for each other on the next national demo I'm gonna go to the SHAC site to read the demo report when it's up, maybe see if I can see me in any of the pics lol! , " Shari Black Velvet " <shari@b...> wrote: > This is probably too late... maybe... but I was just thinking - which > coach are you going down on (if you're going by coach)? I ended up chatting to the guy sat next to me on the coach (he got on at Coventry) - it was his first demo - so I hung out with him when we got there too, which was cool. He was vegetarian and he said on the way back that it's made him want to become vegan now so yay. :-)A couple of others from Coventry chatted to me after the demo too when we were waiting for the coach to arrive. Wish I'd got their email addresses to keep in touch. We noticed the police cars on the way back too when we stopped at a service station. <3 Shari Black Velvet
Guest guest
Yeah, if you go up on a coach with other activists you usually end up making new friends! That's happened with me on the last couple of nationals I've been to. Also there were a few other activists from my area going up who I already knew. Yay more vegans! That's the greatness of national demos! And everyone's always so nice and friendly , " Shari@B...
