Guest guest
I checked out the Vegan School this week and found the Head Teacher to be very committed to the vegan diet. The children seemed happy and they have a policy of involving the children in participating in practical work around the school as well as their academic work. As well as PE all of the children who are not doing the year 11 exams also do gardening. The building is a geniuine georgian period house (good bones but in a tired condition) set in three acres of grounds backing a common or heath. Transport a bit challenging for us with out a car but for you it's easy straight down the A312. The school is Christian based ( 7th Day Adventist) but children come from a variety of religious backgrounds. I asked about the possible conflict between Creationist and Evolutions theories and was told that both are presented but the child can decide for his/her self. The cost a very reasonable for a private school and you can use you Working Families Tax Credit Child Care Allowance towards the fees.adheres mostly to the National Curriculum. Mrs Osei won the Guardian's Promethean award.
