Hi,

I don't know whether anyone out there can help, or knows of someone who

might know someone...

We're looking for vegan (or, if we get really desparate, vegetarian)

caterers to run a cafe at a small (single field) festival being held from

the 6 - 8th August in Devon. Short notice, I know, but the people who were

going to be running it double-booked themselves, leaving us stuck.

There won't be a fee, and whoever can make it will be the sole providers of

food for several hundred hungry people!

Here's hoping someone can help,

John

Can't help with the caterers I'm afraid, but just wondering where the

festival is/what it's about? I'm in Devon to!

Hi,

The festival is at Escot House, Fairmile.

Nothing to do with veganism - it is a didgeridoo festival But most people

who go are vegetarian, and a fair number of them vegan, so it makes sense to

try and get vegan caterers.

If you want to take a

look...http://www.anticearthworks.co.uk/html/devon.html.

Cheers,

John

At HES FES (home educators festival) they had the Cafe Blu Laganu

(which had vegan snacks and would use soy milk instead of cow milk in

lattes etc if requested) and The Purple People Eater which is a

restaurant with a lovely vegetarian and vegan foods. They are always

doing festivals it seems.

I'm not being sucessful with my search now but I know they have a

website with contacts.

Hi Leo,

Thanks for that. Sadly the Purple People Eater people are booked for the

weekend we need caterers, but we think we've found a couple of small cafes,

which, together, should be enough.

Cheers,

John
