Donald Watson will be 94 years old on September 2nd 2004.

 

He's been a Vegan longer than anyone - He started it!

Donald created the word vegan ('from the begining and end of

vegetarian') and founded The Vegan Society in November 1944.

 

60 years later The Vegan Society celebrates it's Diamond Jubilee in

London on 4th November 2004 3 days after World Vegan Day.

 

There are now vegans all over the world and a vast array of

innovative vegan products to suit every taste.
