Invitation to the project

Dear colleagues,

We are non-governmental organization ''Green Liberty'' from Latvia(

www.zb-zeme.lv ).

As vegetarianism still is not popular issue in Latvia, and we have lack of

people we would like to invite one person from vegetarian organization to

participate in European Voluntary Service(EVS- the Youth program, action 2)

from February till August in 2005, which will aim mostly to promote

vegetarianism in Latvia, through different campaigns and activities. We are

looking for the volunteer that would have some experience in working with

vegetarianism issues on organizational level and would be strongly motivated

to share his/her knowledge and experience while being a part of our EVS

project.

You can get more information abut European Voluntary Service on

www.sosforevs.org

If you are interested in co-operation with us, and there are any member,

volunteer or employee interested in sharing his knowledge and experience

with the Green Liberty, while taking a big role in spreading the

vegetarianism issues in Latvia, please contact me as soon as possible, so i

can send to you full project description,

the very best regards,

Ilze Jece

project coordinator

" To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the

affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure

the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in

others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a

garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has

breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded! "

-- Ralph Waldo Emerson, American author/philosopher.
