Guest guest
no, not " all " . I do use commercial dishsoap and laundry detergent. I add lemon juice to the dishwater when I need it for greese, and vinegar to the laundry when I need it for whitening. But what I was refering to is that I use vinegar for cleaning [bathroom, kitchen~ floors, counters, etc ] and baking soda for scrubbing, if needed. I do not use furniture polish. Yeah, I am a vinegar freek. it is an antibacterial. :~) Somebody else mentioned using homemade cleaners.......maybe they have 'recipes' more so than what I use, that would be better suited for the files. :~) ~Pixx On 8 May 2003 at 3:07, ~ P_T ~ wrote: > Pixx, you mentioned you make all your own cleaners. > What do you mean? Guest guest
So glad to hear folks here keep their " weeds " as the beautiful flowers they are instead of putting chemicals on their lawn. Yikes! P.T., you can also dry the dandelion root out, chop it finely, and steep them as a tea. It's a great tonic for your liver and digestive track and bonus! tastes great! , " ~ P_T ~ " > > I love lawns full of wildflowers aka weeds. Guest guest
Yes, I have read that. I wondered how it would taste, if it would be bitter or whatnot. Nice to know something so healthful and easy to find is delicious tasting too. ~ PT ~ The end of the human race will be that it will eventually die of civilization. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson, writer and philosopher (1803-1882) ~~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~> , " Jigilou Snicklefitz " < jigilou> wrote: > So glad to hear folks here keep their " weeds " as the beautiful > flowers they are instead of putting chemicals on their lawn.
