ASDA pizza bases

I don't suppose anyone knows if the pizza bases at ASDA (the ones at

the deli counter where they make pizzas up for you) are vegan ?

 

(And yes, I know that ASDA is part of the evil Wal-Mart empire, thanks

- it's not for me, it's for a friend.)

Asda have an online vegan database, and the only reference to pizza is:

Grocery - Desserts & Baking - Bread Mixes - Asda Pizza Base Mix 145g

So I suppose unfortunately the deli counter ones are not, or they would be on the list too.

I'm thinking that as these bases are not actually sold in the store as

such (they use them to make up pizzas to order at the deli counter)

then there might still be a slim chance. I'm going to email their

customer service people and see if I can get any joy.
