The book deals with nutrition and health from pre-conception through weaning and toddlerhood to pre-school age. The Klaper book is many years out of date now - written before the relationship between B12 and homocysteine was discovered, possibly even before homocysteine itself was discovered. Likewise the Rose Elliot book, which is a reprint/revision of a very much older publication and not specifically vegan anyway.
