Guest guest
I haven’t heard many people talking about wheatgrass juice and rejuvalac. I always have 3-trays (13” x 18”) going and juice daily. I also have 3-trays (13” x 18”) of salad greens going. Yes it looks like Ann’s Kitchen. My lunch is the same throughout the week with a mild variation in sprouts. Since I train at lunch I am pressed for time. I just take a bag of organic herb mix well here it is. 1-Bag Organic Herb Mix 1-Cup of what ever is growing in the tray that’s ready 1-Avacado (Organic) ½-Cup of Sprouts (Home Grown) Sun Flower my Favorite and Good for Niacin ½-Cup of Sprouts (Home Grown) Adzuki or Mung Bean 1-t Kelp Powder ½-Lemon (Juice) I keep everything in separate little Tupperware containers dump into a big wooden bowl and mow. My idea of fast food……..Right or wrong I love it. *Side effects: If you are not healthy you soon will be……… I would love to have some fun in hear somebody take the baton…..This place is to stuffy smells like old books…. Guest guest
I don't eat fast food, except when I'm 'stuck' or traveling and have no other option or something like that. I noticed the discussion about the Burger King Morningstar burgers, I've used this link before and found it useful (I found out that I had stupidly eaten some fries at a place that uses BEEF FAT in their fries, of course I was upset at not having done my research sooner.) http://www.vrg.org/fastfoodinfo.htm the parent site http://www.vrg.org is good as well. I'm hoping to make it to an event soon....I've had to work or been out of town for pretty much every event the last few months! My first thought when I read about the veggie burger was that they use the same grill that the regular burgers are prepared on. Was reading Vegetarian Voice today and I'm happy to report that they (supposedly) use a separate grill. I really want to believe them. I wonder, would they let me check it out for myself? :-) TM
Guest guest
Boca Burger original does have dairy, but they also make a vegan Boca Burger. It says so right on the front of the package. http://www.bocaburger.com/product_organic/1.html Denise , Kyrene Ariadne <kyrene@g...> wrote: > > I hear that they are vegetarian but not vegan. Guest guest
I believe it was their first burger that was vegan... although yes, now they make other versions, and the one marked " VEGAN " is the one they started out with , and the one that is actually vegan! =) It is also the one that Johnny Rocket's uses. =) jenni On Jan 10, 2006, at 11:00 AM, organic_homestead wrote: > Boca Burger original does have dairy, but they also make a vegan Boca > Burger. Guest guest
Another place that uses vegie burgers is called Backyard Burgers. It's a pretty good one. I've only seen this 'chain' here in Augusta, don't know if it's elsewhere. But they make a mean burger with this particular kind, which I believe is Boca. It tastes like Boca...I should know, I eat lots of 'em every week! :>) They put a big red onion, thick slice of dill pickle, lots of dark lettuce leaves, and a squirt of ketchup...and served up hot, it's right tasty. :>) Bron On 1/10/06, Jenni Billings <jenni wrote: > > =) > happy to help! > It's always nice to hear there are options available!!! > > > Jenni > > -- I don't eat anything that has a face or a mama. Guest guest
Yeah, never heard of it here in Massachusetts. Other places have garden burgers, but I'm afraid to try them without knowing whether or not there's dairy in there.
Guest guest
Backyard Burger is in AR and TN, I have never been there because of my assumption that it's all meat! Maybe I'll check it out if my husband is in a junk food, wants fries mood. thanks, melissa p

Guest guest
Tricky, it would depend if the burger was produced seperately from the other food and with different pans/gloves etc. I have tried to open their link http://www.rfbrookes.co.uk/Web/FoodFacts/FoodFacts.nsf/ but couldnt get it to work? Its always a bit of a lottery eating at places like this I`m afraid! Guest guest
Hey Groupies, just catching up on my emails, been healing my baby girl who has been sick. Unfortuneately, I have been battleing with the fast food. Since I still eat fish, I do go to Mcdonalds (PLEASE DONT KILL ME-SMILE) and get the fish sandwich. I do go to Taco Bell also and either get the bean burrito or nacho bellgrande substituting the beef for beans. , " epidemic0fhate " <epidemic0fhate wrote: > > Just wondering what some of you do when in a bind and all that is > available is fast food. Guest guest
I went to Applebee's the other night and the waiter was a total pain! He gave me a hard time about substituting anything, so I finally ordered a piece of fish and ate the rice and vegetables and a couple bites of the fish. I was so aggravated. And why, if I order a Chicken Caesar Salad WITHOUT the chicken, do I have to pay the same???? Sorry, just a little pet peeve of mine! But then, we went to Rainforest Cafe the other night and the waiter was wonderful. I said I didn't know what I wanted because I was a vegetarian and he went through the whole menu telling me what I could substitute.
