It is my daughters 5th birthday the day before world vegan day. The

kids in her class seem to take in sweets or cakes when it is their

birthday. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion of something

vegan she could take in for the class as a birthday treat which will

also promote veganism?

How about donating a book? Like Herb the vegetarian dragon, to the class?

Vegan sweets and cakes.

No better promotion of veganism than showing that you do not have to

give things up to live on nothing but lentils if you do not want to.

I quite agree! If it's not too expensive/time consuming, vegan cakes

and sweets are the way to go! If you don't want to make your own, you

can probably find something suitable in your local health food shop.

Or even things in supermarkets that are 'accidentally' vegan :P

Rice Crispies are vegan, and you can make vegan chocolate crispies by adding

melted vegan chocolate to them, and putting them in fairy cake cases to cool.
