Type 5's

I'd say it's definately a cause and an effect, Lesley.

Thinking back to mealtimes at some workplaces, colleagues are all in the

canteen sharing a bit of banter, etc. while I'm wandering up the road to

the nearest newsagents for my packet of crisps and bombay mix. It means

you miss out quite a lot when it comes to socialising.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not purely type 4.

I should have added:

Type 5. Normal people

....which I am (most of the time).

As for vegan groups, I've tried one or two and I'm sure they include

many type 5's, but I always seemed to end up chatting with the oddball,

the type 1 or the guy that hasn't have anything else to talk about but

veganism. That's what puts me off groups now more than anything else.

By the way, Jo, I said type 4 was the 'quiet' type - not the silent

type! Quiet people can talk as well - and, in many cases, have a lot

more to say and be a lot more stimulating than the loudmouthed variety...

Cheers,

James
