Guest guest
John, I have to disagree with you. This is like the vivisection debate, but the big difference being that eating animals can not be deemed as neccesary... I don't think people should have the choice to kill and eat animals, just like they don't have a (legal) choice to kill other people. (Would have joined in this thread earlier, but didn't read any of the previous posts because of the subject heading - so I've changed it accordingly!...) > Glad to hear I'm not alone in not thinking it right for people to have the > choice to eat animals. Guest guest
Hi James, Um, I think you're actually agreeing with me here! I said, albeit somewhat confusingly: " Glad to hear I'm not alone in _not_ thinking it right for people to have the choice to eat animals " You then said: " I don't think people should have the choice to kill and eat animals, just like they don't have a (legal) choice to kill other people. " So we're agreeing, right?! John - " James H " <james Wednesday, November 29, 2006 1:30 PM Re: Not just not cheezly > John, > > I have to disagree with you. Guest guest
I don't quite understand where you disagree with John here?? Although it is certainly unnecessary, I think you will find that more people believe eating animals is necessary than believe vivisection is necessary, so we are still a long way from getting it made illegal, much as many of us would like to see it illegal. Guest guest
Sorry John - I missed out a 'not'!... (Maybe I'm just getting to used to disagreeing with everyone!)
