1/ What is your name (or what do you like to be called)?

I'm Jules.

 

2/ How old are you (a rough idea will do)?

Just turned 40.

 

3/ Do you know many vegans in real life?

No, none, although I know a few veggies.

 

4/ How long have you been a vegan, and how long vegetarian before that?

I've been a vegan for 24 hours and a veggie for 3 weeks before that.

 

5/ Why did you become vegetarian/vegan (if you are neither it would be

useful to explain why you joined this list)?

I went veggie after lots of discussions with veggie friends, and went vegan

because I suddenly realised how inconsistent my stance was and my body

totally rejected dairy and eggs (what a long night that was).

6/ Whereabouts do you live?

East London.

 

7/ How good a place is it for vegans?

Not bad so far - there are a couple of healthfood stores and some 'ethnic'

shops which I hope will prove useful.

8/ Which is your favourite type of bean?

Don't really 'do' beans so far as I have IBS and have to be careful with

what I try.

 

9/ What is your favourite country, or region, to visit?

I'm a Francophile - used to live there.

 

10/ What types of film do you like?

Anything that stays with me afterwards and makes me think.

 

11/ What was the last meal you ate?

Fried bread and fried mushrooms (you could say I'm struggling! I just

haven't had a chance to get to the shops yet)

 

12/ Are you a morning, evening or night person?

Morning - insufferably cheerful.
