Guest guest
1/ What is your name (or what do you like to be called)? Jo 2/ How old are you (a rough idea will do)? Am 29 forever [have celebrated it a few times now!] 3/ Do you know many vegans in real life? yes, 5 good friends, also know more through various vegan socials 4/ How long have you been a vegan, and how long vegetarian before that? veggie for 16 years then vegan for 5 5/ Why did you become vegetarian/vegan (if you are neither it would be useful to explain why you joined this list)? Went veggie at school after seeing what crap goes into cheap hamburgers ie eye balls, ground up bone, then after a short time I put 2 and 2 together and found out what went on in raising animals for food and the process from beginning to end and was horrified and upset so my views changed and its now for ethical reasons. Its funny how they keep the full details of the animal rearing business secret 6/ Whereabouts do you live? London 7/ How good a place is it for vegans? Very good, lots of good vegan restaurants in central London and 2 locally. Not too far from Fresh and Wild either. Holland and Barrett in most high streets too. Fantastic independent health food shop a short bus ride away too. === Questions for fun === 8/ Which is your favourite type of bean? Like all beans especially when in a meal of mixed beans. Always frightened of kidney beans not being cooked properly so tend to avoid them just in case! 9/ What is your favourite country, or region, to visit? Australia, spent best part of a year travelling there. So friendly. Ireland comes a close second. 10/ What types of film do you like? Thrillers mainly, few horrors and comedies thrown in for good measure. 11/ What was the last meal you ate? Home made soup with lots of ingredients, yum 12/ Are you a morning, evening or night person? night === Questions for dull administrative purposes === 13/ How did you find out about this list? searching in === Other comments === 14/ If there is anything else you want to add to the above please feel free to do so. Seems a well used group, hope to learn from other posters
