Guest guest
Maybe you can get imported beers, like Becks or Grolsch ? Guest guest
Hi, http://www.veggiewines.co.uk/ The three most common - Lech, Zywiec and Tyskie seem ok. Poland borders with Germany, which has been a very influential figure in beer production and conveniently rarely uses animal ingredients. Guest guest
I'd seen that web page when I was researching Polish beers, but I wasn't sure about how reliable their list was as they also say Guinness, Skol and Stella Artois is vegan (which I understand are not vegan...). Many thanks to everyone who replied - there was usually something for me to drink at each bar/pub and I was drunk for the vast majority of the weekend so (from what I can remember!) I had a thoroughly good weekend! Cheers, hic! Guest guest
Sorry I didn't spot that James. Incidentally, I've recently notice posters up about Stella which claim they only use 4 ingredients (water, barley, hops and malt I presume), similar to the reinheitsgebot. Someone I know emailed them and they said they didn't use isinglass any more. I'm going to email them myself and will post the reply here.
