Guest guest
Anyone not directly involved in animal rights, but vegan/veggie and sympathetic, can you help? Lesley _____ ukanimalrights [ukanimalrights ] On Behalf Of denise fred 08 July 2008 08:34 UK animal rights groups; Linda Furness [ukanimalrights] Vegan female prisoner seeking accommodation As many of you probably know Sarah Gisbourne is about to be released from prison after serving three and a half years for animal rights related activities. Sarah has been offered accommodation and a job at a well known, well respected, animal sanctuary in the south east. The probation service have said she can't live there, we don't yet know if she will be able to work there. On her 2 weekend 'out of prison visits' she has stayed at a house where apparently the woman goes on occasional A/R demonstrations. Because of this, this accommodation has also been declined by probation. Obviously most of the people who know Sarah and are willing to offer her a home are connected to animal rights. Sarah is on licence until January, then she can live where she likes. It would be a real shame if Sarah had to go into a hostel rather than a vegan/veggie home where she can relax amongst like minded folk. Please, can anyone out there help?
