Guest guest
I’d like to pass on to everyone the details of an important event coming up soon, the Serena Coles Annual Memorial Celebration Meal. If you are interested in attending please reply to Joe or Tracey ( tracey or joe ), or 020 8655 3797 The meal is 12.30pm on Sunday 12th October at the Shahee Bhelpoori, an Indian vegetarian restaurant opposite Norbury Station. Booking is important so the organizers can ensure enough vegan food and space for all. Shahee operate an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays, which is mostly vegan and priced at £4.95. They also serve vegan Fahloudas (rather like a milkshake). Please ask Joe and Tracey if you need any directions, local bus details, etc. Lesley

Guest guest
Norbury is in South London, not central London. Please could you ask Joe and Tracey if you have questions about this event or about how to get there. It would be wonderful if you could go to this meal but I’m only the person passing on the invitation. I am not able to answer your questions very well because I don’t live in that part of London and I don’t know the trains around there. I’ve never even been to Norbury although I did visit Serena at her nursing home in Purley when she was alive, and attended the lovely parties that were organised for her by the local vegans. I’m copying this to Joe and Tracey so hopefully you will hear from them soon with directions, Lesley _____ On Behalf Of sonal - 30 September 2008 11:03 Re: Serena Coles memorial celebration: 12.30 Sunday 12 Oct Hi! Guest guest
Norbury is just south of Streatham, north of Croydon, in zone 3. On a Sunday Norbury Station is served by a half-hourly train service from London Bridge to East Croydon via Norbury, and a half-hourly service from Victoria to Sutton via West Croydon. Both are operated by Southern. Or using the Underground you can use the Victoria Line to Brixton and change for bus route 109, or the Northern Line to Clapham Common for bus route 50. Both of which go to Croydon via Streatham and should take about 30 minutes to Norbury depending on traffic. Michael.
