Guest guest
Hi there, For some time now I have coveted the Dr-cow nut cheeses made in New York. You're probably aware of Dr-Cow cheeses - live, raw, organic nut cheeses. So when in NY recently I jumped at the opportunity to try these cheeses to see if it is worth the hype... they use it in Pure Food and WIne dishes, and sell it in the retail store there. I'm pleased to report Dr-Cow cheese is the real deal! Yum! If you haven't heard of Dr Cow before then see below for some stories on the most edible vegan cheese in the world... (And probably the only commercially produced raw vegan cheese?) To my dismay, after multiple attempts and ongoing pleading I have found that Dr Cow will not ship to the UK, and have never shipped to the UK. Anyway, the reason I am posting is not to make you jealous... but because I have contacted the people behind Dr Cow and they have agreed to ship to London if we can get a big enough order together - 100 cheese wheels. Due to speedy cold shipping requirements and customs duties it won't be cheap - especially for something small enough to fit in the palm of your hand - but I've calculated that we can get the aged cashew nut cheeses to your door for £7.80 plus UK delivery from London The other types of nut cheeses are slightly more: 80p extra for aged cashew & hemp seeds cheese / aged cashew and crystal algae cheese (blue cheese) / aged cashew and brazil nut cheese / aged cashew and dulse cheese £2 extra for aged macadamia nut cheese £2.50 extra for the aged macadamia and hemp cheese I'll arrange shipping to mine then send it on to you if you are interested. Is anyone interested in being a part of my order? If you want to buy Dr Cow, then I'll humbly request that you get 2 wheels of cheese at once to reduce the packaging / my running around to the post office. Not cheap, but worth the treat (and certainly cheaper than a trip to New York . Please email me if you are interested, and your location so i can check postage costs from London to yours. If we get enough people in then I'll make the order. cheers, Andrew s.tempmail[at]gmail.com More info for the uninitiated: " What really makes Dr. Cow Tree Nut Cheese product of the year is that its taste absolutely blew us away " Veg News Awards 2008 http://www.dr-cow.com/press/VegNews2.pdf " It really is possible to make a rich, flavorful, decadent cheese out of raw nuts, acidophilus, salt and herbs " http://www.thetravelingvegetarian.tv/dr-cow-nut-cheese/ " Dr. Cow's cheeses are an anomaly; Healthy and deviantly indulgent. Guest guest
Hi Andrew, Put me down for a couple. And I'll forward your email to a couple of vegan groups I'm in, and see if anyone else is interested. Guest guest
Hi Peter, The nut cheese does need to be chilled when delivered - included in the price I've calculated is the cold shipping to the UK. On top will need to be cold shipping - which is done using a basic cold pack in a standard package. I'll work out prices if there's enough interest. cheers Andrew , Peter VV <swpgh01 wrote: > > Just a quick question, is this achilled perishable product?, seems like a long way to send something like that? > > Peter vv > > > > > ________________________________ > goodsmusicuk <s.tempmail > > Wednesday, 21 October, 2009 13:52:16 > Dr Cow nut cheese - expressions of interest > > > > > Hi there, > > For some time now I have coveted the Dr-cow nut cheeses made in New York.
