Guest guest Posted November 18, 2002 Report Share Posted November 18, 2002 1 cup cooked white beans or soybeans, drained 1 medium onion, chopped 1 tablespoon oil (optional) 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast salt pepper soy sauce (optional) Grind beans in a processor or food mill or mince until fine. Saute onion in oil (use water or Pam) until well browned. Mix beans, onion and yeast, and season to taste. If desired, add soy sauce to darken to a liverlike color. Serve on bread or crackers, or mound onto a salad plate. Makes about 2/3 cup; serves 2.
