Guest guest
1 can green beans - drained well (Pesach: 1 large eggplant- roasted and pulp scooped out) 4 hard boiled eggs 1/2 cup walnuts, ground fine 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs 2 large onions, diced and fried, in oil (the more onions, the better) Salt and pepper to taste IN FOOD PROCESSOR: Process the walnuts. Add the corn flake crumbs. Process the string beans and eggs, alternately until blended. The string beans should be unidentifiable, but should not be pureed. Put in large bowl and add fried onions. Mix well. Season to taste. Refrigerate. Should be made several hours ahead so that the flavors have a chance to blend and the color changes to resemble liver. When using eggplant, follow the same recipe. During Pesach omit the corn flake crumbs and use a bit more nuts.
