A Typical Day's Fare

On one of the groups I post on I was asked what I eat typically.

This is what a typical day's far would look like.

Breakfast:

5-7 fruits on an empty stomach. Of those one is always very high in

Vit C and one is always very, very deep in color, preferable black

currants when I can get them. Blueberries and blackberries are also

phytochemically very rich, but black currants are king.

As a rule: Always choose fruits that are of deeper color than the

light-colored ones. They have more phytochemicals. Always choose

yellow peaches over white, Bing cherries of the light red one,

cantaloupe over honeydew. That is not to say never to eat the light-

colord ones, I love leechees for instance, but do not make them

preponderant in your fruit fare.

In the summer I make a cup of juice from one of the very juicy fruits

and whirl that in a blender with 4-6 other fruits I've cubed and

frozen ahead of time.

I always eat melons before other fruits as they are the juiciest and

are very sweet.

Lunch (some of examples summertime fare):

I usually don't eat a completely raw lunch.

I'll have tofu on whole grain pita, with sprouts, tom and Almonaise

with dijon mustard and miso

Red onions, different kinds of mushroom, and chunks of tofu fried

with BBQ sauce and stuffed into pita with lettuce and tom.

Broccoli or spinach casserole made with tofu

Baked yams or sweet pots

Ears of corn with a neutrally flavored oil and a bit of sea salt

(boil no more than 15 mins.)

I might even have a bit piece of carrot or zucchini cake and a glass

of soy or rice milk. I make my cakes with clabbered soymilk instead

of buttermilk and eggs. I also mix whole wheat four with spelt flour

and sometimes whole rye flour. I might have bran muffins made from

natural bran flakes and fruit ceral.

Baked Potato and Beet salad with plenty of greens and yellow vegs.

with almonaise or my dressing that's made from cold-pressed oil and

both sweet and sour natural apple cider.

Macaroni and bite-sized pieces of soy franks in a salad with the

other ingredients listed above.

After eating I drink a large glass of water with 3 tsp of sour apple

cider vinegar (not water alone!), which I drink with a very large

clove of garlic. I cut up the garlic and swallow it sometimes. Other

times I chew the garlic to disinfect my mouth and gums. I also take

6 tablets of Brewer's Yeast, 1200mg of Spirulina and ginko biloba for

circulation (this last one is not necessarily recommended. Check with

your physician or naturopath.)

Dinner:

5-7 vegs from the following:

broccoli

bok choy

kale

celery

leek

cucumber

green pepper

cabbage

I retain the stem from the kinds of lettuce that have stems and make

juice from them

other very green, juicy vegs.

parsley

dill

Then separately in order to keep the color aesthetic I make juice

form at least two of the following:

Small beet

carrots

small sweet pot or yam

red or yellow pepper

red cabbage

I drink the green and then the red juices seperately, only because it

is more aesthetic. I drink them very slowly and let them mix with my

saliva before swallowing.

I wait 1/2 and hour after eating fruit that was eaten on an empty

stomach to eat anything else. I wait 4 hours between eating any

properly combines protein meal and any properly combined carb meal.

Check Natural Hygiene sources for the reasons why.
