Guest guest
B " H The link below contains very valuable information about many fruits and vegetables, including nutritional information, and about the phytochemicals they contain. The site also includes recipes that are inappropriate for vegetarians. Take what you like and leave the rest. http://www.tonytantillo.com/reference/phyto.html The following link explains why phytochemicals exist, what they do for plants and how animals use them. There are absolutely fantastic microphotos of the molecular structure of phytochemicals on this site. http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/phytochemicals/ The last site I will list here offers a rather long list of reference materials on research that has been conducted on phytochemicals. I have nowhere near exhausted the wealth of information available about phytochemicals that is available on the net. I hope this post has served to pique your interest and spurs you on to not only learn more, but to become as concerned about getting your phytochemicals as you are about getting your vitamins and minerals.
