You probably have the option to add it, though. When most spell checkers

offer alternatives, there is also a place marked " add " . If you click it,

the word in question will be added to the dictionary.

I'll have to take notice of that, Darlene, thanks. English is

my 'puter's second language, so I don't know if we have that option.

It doesn't recognize it's own file extentions (.doc, .xls, etc.)

either...go figure ;)

Hi Doreen,

 

It also does not recognize "quilters" either, it wants to change it to quitters, which I am not.

Am having trouble finding " vegan in a dictionary so feel sympathy for

Yep, whenever I write a paper for class, my spell check always tries

to correct the word " vegan " . So I added it to the vocabulary. It

is rather strange that it's not in there!

My Word program does give the option to add a word to the

vocabulary. Good tip, thanks.
