Guest guest
Shalom! Due to a new member from Lithuania, I searched the internet to find out more about the Lithuanian Jews known as " Litvaks " . At the present , there is a community of about 5000 Jewish people in Lithuania. And of course, I found a few wonderful recipes with lovely names such as " cold nose " and " little mushroom ears " . A warm welcome to all the new members in the group. Please feel free to post anything that has to do with Jewish and/or Vegetarian food, and we are especially grateful for hints, questions and new recipes. There is also a section to place your links, but I strongly dislike commercial links and definitely remove anything concerning porn. There is a place and a time for everything, and it is not this group. Except for members I know in person, postings for new members are moderated. If someone just comments on something writing : " Yeah, Dude, delicious " , it does not change the moderated status. This list is not restricted to Jewish members, but does focus on Jewish life and Jewish holiday cooking. So there are no restrictions but one: we don't do Jesus here! Sorry, I know this is boring and I don't do it often. Twice a year the most. New recipes for summer anyone? Gabriella
