Guest guest Posted July 1, 2004 Report Share Posted July 1, 2004 Tortilla Soup 12 small tortillas 2 onions 1 clove of garlic 4 chiles pasa (cleaned and deseeded) 1/2-cup heavy cream 1/2-cup tomato sauce 4 ounces mozzarella cheese 2 ounces butter 1/2-cup vegetable oil (for frying) Fry the tortillas in oil. Grind together the garlic, onions, chile, tomato sauce, and cream to make a sauce. Grease a deep frying pan with the butter and fill with alternating layers of the tortillas, sauce, small pieces of butter, mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper and allow to cook for 15 minutes.
