Guest guest
Chive-Stuffed Snow Pea Pods ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 24 snow pea pods, fresh, trimmed 3 oz cream cheese or Neufchatel, softened 2 Tbsp whipping cream [ed.--or milk] 2 Tbsp chives [and/or other herbs]-- chopped Blanch the pea pods in boiling, salted water for 30 seconds. Drain well and refresh in cold water, draining well again. Carefully slit open one side of each pea pod. In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, whipping cream, and chopped chives. Stuff the pea pods and serve. [Can be chilled for awhile before serving, and I think this brings out the chive/herb flavor.] Source: Tig Means Rain @@@@ ______________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Guest guest
> Chive-Stuffed Snow Pea Pods By the way, you can do the same thing with nasturtium blossoms. They're closely related to watercress, so it's terrific. Don't blanch them. Rain @@@@ \\\\\\ ______________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
