Is it acceptable to spam in your own group and be upset about others

spamming at the same time? Well, this is rather an announcement and

not a spam letter I reckon (Ah, its good to be moderator)

The headline of the message reads: " To the ladies of 'Vegetarian

Jewish Cuisine' " , although I should add " to the Jewish ladies " ,

assuming the non-Jewish members of this group and all the gentlemen

will not send me angry emails (I could live with that, too)

I am planning on publishing an online journal for Jewish women, and

had a private correspondence with a few of the group's members (thank

you again, your responses were very helpful and inspiring)

What actually started as one project, finally ended up in two

separate magazines.

The magazines will include articles on Jewish cooking, crafts,

education, DIY, kosher cosmetics, literature, travel, and essays

concentrating on " being a Jewish woman "

This will include writings by women Rabbis as well and I know that

many ladies will object to that.

The other difficulty was the choice of the title, that some liked and

some disliked, so finally, we have come up with the final solution

of " Heymish " at http://www.heymish.com and " JW Journal " at

http://www.jwjournal.com (heymish by the way, or: haimish is the

Yiddish word for warm, comfortable, homey, folksy)

So, " Heymish " can be read by every one without any possible

annoyance, and " JW Journal " is an option for those ladies, who are

interested in other Jewish women's voices.

The journals will be online in September (hopefully) and writers are

more than welcome! (you will find more information on the websites)

Sorry guys, no men! All you can do, is read it (if you want to), but

this indeeed a project " by women for women " .

Warm regards,

Gabriella

PS

I know that some members are d " Jewish Cuisine " as well and

will receive the message a second time. Sorry about that.
