Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who have mailed me off-list! I received so many warm and kind messages and I appreciated each one of it! Some members of the list also gave me some advice concerning the list itself and I also found out, that a few members had the impression I was the only one supposed to post here...hm, do I appear to be that grim?? So, my question: Which recipes would you be most interested in? Would you prefer a different theme like " Holidays " or " Vegetarian Schmaltz " ? I am open to every suggestion. Be well all! Guest guest
Gabriella, I am trying to experiment with making my challahs sweeter. Although, these are always vegetarian, I would love some recipes. I make the dough in a breadmaker. Thanks! Tricia

Guest guest
Hi Gabriella, sorry to be mia so much. We have a really busy season right now and when we are home Keith needs the computer for his paperwork and I need to try to restore order to the house. The recipes you sent recently - no cook meals were excellent. We are on the road alot and I need things we can keep in the cooler but still let us eat health. For example yesterday we had raw veggie wraps with baba ghanousj or roasted red pepper hummus. Veggies are in season right now, of course, so we had roma tomatoes, english cucumber, kosher pickles, celery, and so on in the wraps. We also had fresh cherries for desserts, which we purchased from a 'fruit gypsy " - a man and his wife who drive up here from the Okanagan valley with cases of fruit freshly picked. The cherries were a variety we had not had before, bigger than a 1 pound coin (or a loonie here in Canada) and so dark and sweet. The two children who came with us yesterday (the boys stayed home for a youth activity) had mouths stained purple from the juice. Can you believe that my family (of 6) ate 1/2 a case (@ 10 pounds) in one day. When things settle down again in a couple three weeks I will be joining in more fully.
