Guest guest
Gabriella, I would like very much to see what others have to offer. Sometimes we get into a rut and don't know what to do. I have catered for as little as 15 as as many as 175 (my son's Bar Mitzvah Kiddush Lunch). The following is a list of my menu for the Baby Naming. As the Grandmother had told me she had invited 22 guest, I needed to plan for at least an additional 10-15. In the summer, we do not have services each week, too many of our members do the weekends away so you never know how many may show up. Usually we don't get a full house, but if the weather happens to be bad that weekend, you need to plan for a few addition mouths to feed. Wine for Kiddush Sparkling Wine Challah Mixed Green Salad W/ Orange Vinagarette Sephardic pasta salad Tuna Salad Cheese and cracker platter Sweet Potato and Corn Casserole Bagels & Cream Cheese Egg Salad Pita & Hummus Veggies & Dip Fresh Fruit Apple Cake Mandelbrot Bottled Water Coffee This was served for only 28 people, but you never know who will walk through the door, especially when it is sort of " open " I also arrange for the community break fast after Yom Kippur at the Temple--this is mainly a pot luck break fast--I have learned to provide a listing of some helpful ideas, otherwise you will end up with either all hummus and pita or all desserts LOL. If anyone is interested in quanities, please let me know--I haven't finished listing everything into my computer from last week, but will be more that happy to help you in any way.
