Guest guest
Hello Gabriella, everyone. I am trying to expand the recipes we serve for Shabbat and am interested in learning what others are serving. We focus on a traditional table with courses that consist of veg (OL) friendly dishes in a traditional east European perspective. For example… DINNER Wine Challah (Store bought, but a heavenly whole wheat loaf) Gefilte Tofu Chopped `Liver' (lentils, et al) Soup (except summers) Breaded Veg Pattie (Frozen, processed `Schnitzle'. Badly needs an upgrade!) served with Carrot/Sweet Potato Stew (Tzimmes), and Noodle Casserole (Kugel) Compote LUNCH Wine Challah Gefilte Tofu Chopped `Liver' Bean and Potato Stew (Chulnt, except summer) Cold Soup (summer only) Breaded Veg Pattie (cold, ick) served with Tzimmes (cold), and Kugel (cold) Ideas? Thanks, lee
Guest guest
These are wonderful suggestions! Thank you very much, Lee! Do you have the recipe for " Gefilte Tofu " ? This sounds marvelous. I will check my recipes to add some suggestions.
