Guest guest
Just a note on the Atkins diet. My mate did the diet and became saturated with meat proteins. I don't think he felt that good physically. Later he got sick after falling underweight. Now, he eats a tiny bit of " bad " carbs with his meals. What about all the toxins and antibiotics that exist in modern meats like pig and cow? How long will it be before studies show the adverse affects of these over-processed food sources? Is there any difference between free range, organic fed and the needled mass-produced animals which are forced to eat their own ground up meat and bones? I am so glad that I am vegetarian, no offense to any carnivors out there, N.
Guest guest
As for the zucchini, how about a terrine? I'm watching Emeril Lagasse make them as we speak. Recipes are online, but basically what you do is roast vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, peppers, etc), and layer them, sometimes with goat cheese, sometimes with spinach, sometimes with other things, and weight the layered pan down and refrigerate it. When you're done, you have a solid layered loaf that tastes wonderful. For more info, I'm sure you can look it up at foodtv.com.
