Breakfasts aren't a problem, but lunch is meat, and frequently dinner is fish ( " Fish *is* vegetarian. " ). One more comment. The Tivol is not *necessarily* vegetarian...my 21 yo (who was recently released from the army) discovered accidentally that the " vegetarian meal " was actually being fried in animal fat. (He could never convince anyone that that made the food non-vegetarian...) My oldest son had very good luck when he was in the army. He worked in the " shalishut " which has something to do with personnel. He went to the dining hall one day and there was no vegetarian meal. He told his " mefaked " who called the food service supervisor and the mefaked said, " You know how you need a couple new cooks very soon? I have a vegetarian soldier who needs to have vegetarian meals at *every* meal. " There was never another problem...
