Guest guest
Hello ~ Someone asked what is on our menu. Well, I'll tell you. Our youngest son got his discharge from the Israeli army today and he loves my batata chips. Batata = sweet potato. I make slices, and I turn them around in a mixture of olive oil, onion soup powder and some garlic. Then I bake them in the oven. I have a new oven and am not yet used to it and now everything is burnt.... I also made a chestnut cake and now I was very, very careful and it did not get burnt. I hope you all are more succesful than me. Greetings and shavua tov ~ Dorith
Guest guest
Sorry about your batata chips. The idea sounds good, I'll have to try it. I'd also be interested in the chestnut cake. Most important, mazel tov on your son's discharge. My friends tell me that, despite reserve duty, it is a whole new stage of life. I'm 2 years down and 6 to go.
