Some Kroger Private selection frozen carrots are from Israel and need to have

Terumos and Maasros taken from them.

 

Unauthorized

Packaged Sambosak and Chocolate Rounds bear an unauthorized Star-K.

Star " kosher " restaurant on Burbank Blvd. in Van Nuys, CA, has informed us that

they do not yet have kosher supervision, but hope to look into it next week.

 

No Longer Certified

Harmony Foods Inc. in Santa Cruz, Ca. is no longer under the kosher supervision

of Rabbi Ely Frankel from the Kosher Certification Service.

Kosher Certification Service no longer gives supervision to Supplement Sciences

Nutrition Now Co.

 

 

Updates

Mars Chocolate products that are kosher certified in the U.S. are kosher in

Australia even when not bearing a certification on the label.

 

Effective March 1,2005 all kosher fresh beef under the S'Better Farms label in

Albertsons supermarkets in Southern California and Nevada is

Lubavitch Shechita . These products bear the O/K symbol and when cooked are

Bishul Yisroel. All baked products are Pas Yisroel. Beginning with Purim all

of the local processing for Albertsons will be Kosher for Pesach and will be

under the supervision of Rabbi Teichman.

 

Perricone's Fresh Juices from the Beaumont Juice Co. are certified for Pesach

by the KSA and will bear the KSAp on the label. These products are

available at Whole Foods and other markets.
