Where do the fish get Omega-3's? From seaweed. Other sources include flax seeds, walnuts. I think I read somewhere that avocados have some of these good fats. It is important to get more Omega 3's since most people's diets have way too much of other essential fatty acids so that their diet is unbalanced in that area. With fish, just in terms of health, you need to be concerned about mercury. When fish are factory farmed, there are additional health risks, similar to risks eating factory farmed meats. from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org<http://www.petsincondos.org/> South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net<http://www.soflavegevents.net/>
Guest guest
Any suggestion what seaweed brand to buy? I would think seaweed is also subject to contamination from ocean pollution. Thank you for any information, daniela - " N'omi Rose " <healthyme50 Thursday, March 02, 2006 3:26 PM Omega-3's Re: Digest Number 327 > Maida > > this food thing is so extremely exhausting to manage.
