Guest guest
I know for a fact that Rabbi Michael Lerner of Beyt Tikkun in San Francisco is vegetarian. My husband and I were with a group of local (south Florida) Tikkun/Network of Spiritual Progressives members who shared a dinner with Rabbi Lerner when he was in Miami to plug his new book, " The Left Hand of God, Taking Our Country Back to the Religious Right. " I would assume that some of his congregants are vegetarian. When we traveled to San Francisco to meet out grandchild, we went to an event from the VeggieJews group on Groups.com. There were about 20 people, but I have no idea whether any of them had formal affiliations with synagogues in the area. I wonder whether the administrators of any synagogue would actually know what the congregants eat? from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net
