Guest guest
This recipe was posted quite some time ago by " The Organic Gourmet " , and since it is suitable for pPassover, I repost it. Thank you for that great recipe. VEGGIE BALLS 24 mushrooms 2 green peppers 2 carrots 2 onions 4 stalks of celery 2 cloves garlic 1/2 cup margarine 8 eggs 4 cups matzoh meal 4 cans tomato mushroom sauce Grind first 6 ingredients very fine. In a large skillet heat margarine and sauté till soft, cool to lukewarm. Stir in beaten eggs and enough matzoh meal to make a mixture thick enough to roll into balls. Simmer balls on a medium to medium low heat in tomato sauce till warmed through, around 45 minutes.
