Guest guest Posted April 24, 2008 Report Share Posted April 24, 2008 Hello everyone! I hope you had all (a) wonderful seider(s). We were invited, so that was very easy for me!!! The food was " kacha-kacha " . Nothing to write home about... At home, my food was delicious (If I may say so, with a big credit to Brandel). The Ananascrumble was delicious. the spinach from the oven, too. The butter balls (cookies) became flat but the taste is awesom. the baked onions fell apart. It is not written how long they have to be in the oven, so I left them probably to short. So, the main reason to write: my mayonnaise failled. I made one batch which went OK. but the rest they all became a fluid mixture which does absolutely not like to became EVER a mayo. What can I do? I even tried the one of Claudia Roden with hardboiled eggs. Very stange!!! WHO HAS A IDEA to make my Pessach life livable again???? Thanks in advance.
