Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I just joined this group, and thought I would post a message to say " hi " , and to let people know that several years ago, I wrote L'Chaim To Life: A Living Foods Passover Haggadah with Recipes for the Seder. The first half is devoted to the Seder, and the second half includes recipes for the Seder and Passover week. I have recipes for Raw Matzah, Mock Gefilte Fish, Mock Chopped Liver, Tsimmes, Macaroons, and various global Haroset recipes.I also include shopping lists, and menu planning ideas. I've sponsored Living Food Passover Seders in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 5 years, and have given demos for those interested in alternative vegan seders. For those of you who are interested in the Haggadah, please contact me. Domestic shipping is free through Passover. To see a few of my recipes, I have links to several guest blogs on heebnvegan. http://heebnvegan.blogspot.com/2008/09/rosh-hashanah-guest-post-raw-jewish.html. http://heebnvegan.blogspot.com/2009/03/guest-post-passover-from-living-foods.htm\ l. Guest guest
Marian, there was full stop at the end of the links. The links are: http://heebnvegan.blogspot.com/2009/03/guest-post-passover-from-living-foods.htm\ l and http://heebnvegan.blogspot.com/2008/09/rosh-hashanah-guest-post-raw-jewish.html I wish I could type it all in one line, but it is too big. If you can't get to the site by clicking the link, copy and paste it into your browser. , Marian Hapeset <mhapeset wrote: > > I didn't get it. > > --- On Wed, 3/3/10, gabriella_kapsaski <gabriella_kapsaski wrote: > > > gabriella_kapsaski <gabriella_kapsaski > Re: Living Foods Passover Haggadah > > Wednesday, March 3, 2010, 9:56 PM > > > Â > > > > Yes, now I got it too! Guest guest
Long links can be shortened using: http://tinyurl.com Its worth the very short time it takes to shorten links for e-mailing, if you really want people to follow them. Guest guest
Boker Tov Shoshana, Thank you. Someone named Gabriela from the UK emailed the corrected links. Thank you for your " tiny url " . Once I get my young teen aged neighbor to explain it all to me it will be wonderful. I looked at the website and was not impressed. I'm Sephardi. I never heard of kosher for passover tofu. Some things seemed interesting although not original. Thanks again, and Chag Kasher V'Samayah. Guest guest
To be honest, I haven't read all the recipes and missed out on the 'kosher for passover' tofu. I wish it would exist, that would make cooking for vegans on Passover so much easier. By the way, there are a lot of Passover recipes in the archives, but it is impossible to find them. I inserted all kind of terms in the message search, but nothing shows up. Has anyone ever tried as well? Is this a bug? Guest guest
Dear Gabriella, You need to consult a rabbi because Ashknazim do not eat tofu on pesah because it is kitniot. Guest guest
We usually eat a lot of quinoa during Pesach. ________________________________ gabriella_kapsaski <gabriella_kapsaski Thu, March 4, 2010 7:09:24 AM Re: Living Foods Passover Haggadah  To be honest, I haven't read all the recipes and missed out on the 'kosher for passover' tofu.
