Fun things!...

Hi all!

 

How's things?! I think its about time we got to know each other a bit better!!

We all know each others names, occupations and why we're vegan but thats it!

So, if you feel like sharing a bit of your lives with everyone tell us more

about yourself! This, of course, has nothing to do with the fact that I'm

really nosy!!!

As for me, if you didn't know already(!), I snowboard and I love it! I've been

snowboarding for about 6 years now and have spent a winter season in Whistler,

Canada and in Megeve/Courchevel, France. I go snowboarding at every opportunity

I get and am hoping to move and live in some beautiful mountains one day! I

love it both because of the excitement and thrills(!) but also because you get

to spend all day in such amazing, peaceful surroundings. I like the technical

side of it too and am currently training to be a snowboard instructor. If

anyone fancies taking up a new sport I'd definately recommend it! Its wicked!

Apart from that I've just started trampolining which I originally started to

help my snowboarding but discovered its really good fun! I also do a bit of

yoga for relaxation! I'm also quite into music (mainly drum'n'bass,

chilled/dancy stuff...) and love going clubbing up in London every now'n'then.

But it has to be said that one of my favourite things to do is spend time with

my dog!

 

Anyway, I'm not sure if you really wanted to know all that, but if you've got

the time to write I'd love to hear more about everyone!

Well, I'm currently up to my neck in teaching which is really cool. Teaching

is so much fun. Imagine something you like, now imagine telling lots of

people about it. How good is that ? It's also really nice to be able to do

something about all those hours you spent sitting in endless boring lectures

to try and make stuff more interesting. Whether it works or not is of course

another matter.

 

Also, I'm involved in a project to build a broadband wireless network across

London that's owned by it's users rather than the telecoms companies. Check

Yeah right

 

I recently discovered freezing things. Bananas totally rock, as does a lot

of fruit (mandarins !), chewing gum is quite good fun as well. It shatters

when you first bite into it.
