Medicines+Money Programme

I hope my last message didn't come accross the wrong way. I didn't

mean it to sound like I was having a go at people who take

conventional medicines as I know that some people literally don't

have a choice for whatever reason. I'm lucky enough not to need to

take anything right now and I think my point was that its really hard

for us when we do get ill because we have to make these choices. I

was talking to someone about it last night and realised that if

conventional medicine is going to help us save thousands of animal

lives through any work that we do to help stop testing then I think

if you asked the animals they would be willing to sacrifice a few

lives in order to help. Anyway, I won't ramble on about this becuase

I will be here forever, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry if I

offended anyone and I didn't mean to.

Did anyone see the Money Programme on HLS last night? Great that

these issues are now on tv. I think they covered it fairly well but

could have given a few more facts to support the Animal Rights

people. Having said that I missed a lot of it becuase I had to keep

turning the tv off when they showed nasty pictures. The human

species sucks doesn't it.

Hi,

I have just read the stuff you have written on taking medicine.

There is absolutely no reason why humans or animals need traditional

allopathic medicine. There is no reason for taking it as there

are so many amazing alternatives. Homeopathy is just one alternative

and it works wonders. There are homeopathic vets and you can

take liquid based remedies with no animal products in whatsoever

so I don't understand why anyone feels that they are gonna take

trad medicine if they are vegan. I know it's all a choice at

the end of the day but how can we bleat on about people not wearing

leather shoes and then in the next breath take some pills that

have caused suffering to thousands of animals lives?

You need to go back and read the email I wrote before this one! :)

I'm against conventional medicine too! In fact, I'm on a mission to

become super-healthy so that I never have to take anything at all!

Sorry - I've come in a bit late on this one but I have to disagree with you

Angela - I'm recovering from a nervous breakdown and at the time my

Homeopathic Doctor positively encouraged me to seek conventional medicinal

help whilst I was at my worst

Don't get me wrong - I fought against taking conventional medicine for a

long time (probably too long) but in the end I had no choice

I think the point is that if people didn't rely as heavily as they do on

conventional medicine we wouldn't have these multi national corporate

companies making such obscene amounts of money out of peoples' suffering -

and people wouldn't feel they had to pop a pill for ever minor ailment

I understand your passion regarding alternative medicines though - I too am

a great believer not only in that but also in prevention rather than cure as

I'm sure you are

Regards

ps. they are Vegan though!
