Guest guest
Dear John (and All), TVP Yes, I knew what TVP is, (Thank you for the joke), . Anyone still remember Spam fritters... yuck! How old are you? (I still remember your 'age') That old? From your childhood? > I said before, I am sure that no real veganw ould ever be offended by them. Yes,.... I really appreciate / thank ones who told me (directly) though (some told someone else and got me into trouble, ). Dont worry about the computer. Thank you.... >in Brixton [ http://www.communitytechnology.org.uk ] I've just checked the site. >which is run by anohter vegan [ wah-hey! ] May I ask what expression is this, ? (Thank you.) and so it is not hard to convince him where it should go. Thank you,... >They also do Windows PCs if someone really thinks they need one of those. But, ..no monitor, I am afraid it will be hard for me to find the suitable ones. I have friends who are IT illiterate, but,...I can't always ask them to attend the PC/ Mac. Maybe the best solution, with the taxes/ maintenance/ etc is to buy one here,.... I am still not sure. Please do not send any without any confirmation, . there are a few really slim or compact old Macs Do you have the details? If Vaughan will stick in £10, (Thank you for the well intention Vaugham,..) Does any of you know: Lino Guedes P, M.D. A veggie from Brazil, he seems to be a very dedicated and kind veggie and he seems to have the same visions with John and friends, ... I'll spread the word on what the IT community is doing, don't worry, no 'spamming', . I bet you don't believe that particular promise, . Guest guest
Hi Vanda TVP spam is a bit of a joke. TVP stands for Textured Vegetable Protein [ vegan meat substitute ]. " Spam " originally meant a really cheap tinned meat substitute made from meat factory waste fed to people during World War II and still eaten by old poeple and poor families. Anyone still remember Spam fritters... yuck! So to say " TVP spam " is a joke on vegan related email spam. Textured vegan high protein emails that you campaign with. I said before, I am sure that no real veganw ould ever be offended by them. Dont worry about the computer. I can get old Macintosh computers for free. I have more than one ready on or its way to be given specifically away " for charitable use " . I cant keep it or sell it. At present I am doing work with Commnity Technology in Brixton [ http://www.communitytechnology.org.uk ] which is run by anohter vegan [ wah-hey! ] and so it is not hard to convince him where it should go. The offer - in theory - is extended to any groups or anyone else as long as it is to be used for " The Cause " ... and not just for playing games or surfing the internet for pictures of naked people. They also do Windows PCs if someone really thinks they need one of those. Luckily, there are a few really slim or compact old Macs that would be cheap to send so dont be shy or inhibited unless there is a real problem like being hit with import taxes you cant pay. If Vaughan will stick in £10, I will match that, all we need is another £10 or so and it is costs are covered. We are almost there.
