Guest guest
I apologise for being such a proud vegan mum!! but for World Vegan Day yesterday the Scotsman newspaper did an article about how healthy vegan children can be, featuring my children. There are a few mis-quotes in the article: Davie's veganism does involve love for animals and I didn't say that about B12!! but it is a positive look at veganism. http://www.thescotsman.co.uk/foodanddrink.cfm?id=TS00176284 & d=Features & c=food & s=6 Lucy
Guest guest
nice one! I've haven't had a chance to read it yet, but its always great to hear of positive vegan stories getting to the general public. Helps to get rid of our reputation as a bunch of weirdos! vegan-network , " lucyburnett " <lucyb@u...> wrote: > I apologise for being such a proud vegan mum!! but for World Vegan Day yesterday the Scotsman newspaper did an article about how healthy vegan children can be, featuring my children. Guest guest
> [scotsman article] Great article. Seems you did a good job on talking to the journalist involved as well, the whole piece seems very clueful. > Helps to get rid of our reputation as a bunch of weirdos! Speak for yourself snow girl ! Guest guest
hey! there's nothing wrong with a nice healthy obsession with snowboarding! admittedly, my latest addition - snowboarding on a trampoline - has had some people thinking I've gone mad! I might write to my local paper and see if they'll stick in an article about healthy vegans too! vegan-network , Vaughan <vaughan-vn@b...> wrote: > > [scotsman article] > > Great article. Guest guest
Well done Lucy!! I have a friend who's brought his six year old daughter up as a vegan, and she's a little angel; beautiful, healthy and mellow. He has got loads of stick for doing it, but I think it's brill!! What did everyone do for World Vegan Day? Anything exciting? Regards sue
